Public broker verification

How broker profiles are reviewed.

GCBA's directory is a structured, publicly documented record of charter brokers. The review methodology below is what inclusion represents — and what it does not.

01

Structural completeness

Each profile provides the required fields: company, legal entity, business type, operational-control note, headquarters, regions served, specialisations, languages and status. Missing fields prevent publication.

02

Factual verification

GCBA reviews public-facing information for internal consistency and consistency with the applicant's own submissions. Publicly available regulatory records are cross-checked where relevant.

03

Role disclosure

Profiles must clearly present the company as a broker where applicable, and must not present broker services as direct air-carrier services or imply certification GCBA cannot verify.

04

Change management

Companies are responsible for keeping profile information current. Each profile displays a last-review date; profiles not refreshed within the review window are flagged.

05

Corrections and reports

Anyone — clients, operators, journalists, regulators — may submit a correction request. Substantiated issues are investigated and, where appropriate, reflected in profile status.

06

Code adherence

Members are subject to the GCBA Code of Professional Conduct. Serious, substantiated breaches may lead to profile status changes or removal, following documented process.

Profile statuses

Every profile carries an explicit status.

Statuses are set by GCBA based on the review methodology above. They describe the state of the profile — not the safety, financial standing or overall quality of the company.

What inclusion does — and does not — represent

Inclusion means

  • · A structurally complete public profile
  • · Consistent, disclosed role and services
  • · A named point of accountability
  • · For members: adherence to the Code of Professional Conduct

Inclusion does not mean

  • · An aircraft safety rating
  • · Operator certification or endorsement
  • · Government approval
  • · A guarantee of any specific flight, price or outcome
Charter flights are operated by licensed direct air carriers exercising operational control. GCBA is an industry association and does not certify aircraft, operators or safety systems.
